Fiber Division Goal
The Fiber Division goal is to recognize and appreciate the unique qualities and characteristics of various natural fibers and encourage the artistic and craft disciplines that utilize these fibers.
Fiber Division CHANGES
- Due to the terrific success of the Parking Lot Fiber Sale, the Raw Fiber Competition and Sale has been discontinued. Breed organizations are encouraged to conduct their own competitions: space can be arranged by contacting the Fiber Division Chair, Kristi Gustafson. By July 31, 2010. OFFF will continue efforts to recognize the variety of fibers through education and special displays.
- Sale of Fiber Creations Gallery items has been discontinued for lack of interest.

- Ribbons: 1st through 5th place in the Fiber Creations and Skein Competitions and rosettes to Champion entries
- Diamond Award Trophy and $100 cash to the Fiber Creations and Skein Competitions.
- Russell Goff Memorial Special Handwoven Award.
- Cash prizes are awarded as donated Portland Handweaver's Guild for 'Best Handwoven'

That is, from the animal or raw fiber to the finished product.
